We believe sustainability is fundamental to success.
At Café Lux Coffee ,we are constantly monitoring everything we do to ensure efficiency and long term sustainability. All of our processes are designed to have as minimal an impact as possible.
We not only invest in but actively participate in activities that offset our carbon footprint so that by the end of this year our entire process will be net carbon neutral.
Every bag of coffee sold supports World Coffee Research a non-profit that assists farmers with the tools, knowledge and plants necessary to adapt to the changing climate.
Additionally, for each lb of coffee sold, we fund the planting of 1 tree through the 'Trees Education Program', formed by the collaborative efforts of UNASDG, Imani's Board and Embu officials.
After year 1, the tree is included in the program that leverages the International Carbon Market through the UNASDG.
This funds children's education in Kenya and to date has funded the planting of over 6250 trees.
A majority of our retail products are shipped in compostable or recyclable packaging and most of our shipping materials are curbside recyclable!
We ship all retail orders via USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
Orders ship the day roasted/packed and are generally delivered to customers in
3-4 business days.
